The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Rabiu Aiki of the All Progressives Congress (APC) the winner of the Kebbi by-election for the Zuru State Constituency.

INEC announced the result at the collation centre in Kebbi State.
The Returning Officer, Muhammad Danladi of the Federal University Birnin Kebbi, declared Rabiu Aiki as the winner.
According to the official result, Aiki polled 4,871 votes.
His closest rival, Aliyu Muhammad of the Labour Party (LP), received 168 votes.
The result gave the APC candidate a comfortable victory in the by-election.
